A web portal and mobile apps for an Italian estate agency, built around a property search engine.
The goal
Gruppo Toscano is an estate agency in Italy. It asked for the whole platform built from scratch rather than assembled from parts: a web portal for the properties, and mobile applications covering the same ground. Two things shaped the work - an advanced search engine over the listings, and the SEO rules the listing pages had to follow.
How it works
The portal carries the search across the listings, and the pages are built to the SEO rules so they index cleanly. It runs on ASP.NET and C#, with Web API and Entity Framework on the server, Angular and jQuery on the front, and the data in Azure SQL. The mobile applications are built from the same platform with Ionic and Cordova.
