The goal
Meridian is one part of a Microsoft AI training platform. What the client wanted was somewhere to train AI on human input: advanced enough to do the work, and still simple for the people supplying that input. It had to be ready for mobile as well, rather than assuming everyone is sitting at a desk.
How it works
Input comes in through an Angular 6 front end that works on a phone as readily as on a desktop. Behind it is an ASP.NET Core back end in C#, with Web API and Entity Framework, and Azure Cognitive Services doing the AI work. The data sits in Azure SQL and the platform runs on Azure.
